I am an avid visitor of the TED website, especially when I need a little inspiration, and motivation. It’s so wonderful to see people speak on ideas that they are passionate about.
Each year TED awards the TED Prize to someone that they believe is an exceptional individual, and awards them $100,000.00 to fund their “One Wish To Change The World”
Previous winners include Jamie Oliver, Bill Clinton, Edward Burtynsky, and BONO.
This year the prize went to the photographer JR. JR’s plan is to create a large scale participatory art project that will transform messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work. You can learn more about the project and participate at insideoutprject.net
